Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 lives on. I’m still playing this game. My review and opinion for this game.

Who plays Red Alert 2 here? I’ve been playing this game for years already. It’s the 2nd strategy game I played since in my younger years. I like the story. The game play was still the same. I would to share from the beginning of Red Alert 2 to Mental Omega.

Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2

Red Alert 2 was the beginning of the story. You will play Allies and Soviet campaign. 12 missions each side. It begins with Allies story. I already beat the game many years ago. It’s when Agent Tanya infiltrates the Kremlin at the end of the mission. It was followed by the Soviets story. It’s where Premier Romanov rules the Soviet Union. It was assisted by the man of mind control, Yuri. It’s where you know why Yuri became a traitor to the Soviet Union later on in Soviet campaign. The Soviets continue to fight to the Allied forces at the end to destroy the Chronosphere. Overall, I like the story. It was fun.

Command and Conquer: Yuri’s Revenge

Yuri’s Revenge was the expansion of Red Alert 2. It’s where Yuri creates his forces for world domination. You have to play missions for Allies and Soviets only for this game with 7 missions each side. You can only play Yuri’s side in skirmish mode. The story starts when Yuri was launching his superweapon which is Psychic Dominator to dominate the world. In the campaign, it starts with the Allies that ends in the war in Antarctica where your mission to destroy the last Psychic Dominator. It was followed by the Soviets that end in Transylvania where Yuri tries to escape from his fortress but the time machine goes to the dinosaur world and almost eaten by the T-rex. The campaign ends here for Yuri’s Revenge.

Command and Conquer: Mental Omega

Who says that Yuri was dead from the past? He’s still alive. Yuri came back in the present by the help of his Psi-Corps forces to bring him back. He is back for his revenge to dominate the world. He controlled the Soviets at first and later controlled the Allied forces. It was happen in Mental Omega 2.0 that I did not play. It ends the war in Antarctica again where Yuri was fallen for good when Allies and Soviets join forces once more. In Mental Omega 3.0, it’s where the story repeated. The Allies and Soviets have their conflicts again for another war. In this game, Yuri’s campaign is now available. Each side you will play 12 missions in Act 1. It was followed by Act 2 which is the Yuri’s Epsilon Era. Act 2 was still the same you have to play 12 missions each side. Act 2 was not finished until now. It was still in development. In Act 1, the Allies end the war in Europe to the Soviets. The Soviets end the war in Russian-Chinese border where you fought the Soviet Chinese forces. And Yuri’s Epsilon ends the war in Kazakhstan where you destroy the Leninsk Cosmodome. Act 2 was still in development. I’m still waiting for the next patch to come. And by the way, after Allies, Soviets and Epsilons have their conflict, there was another side that joins the conflict which is the Foehns. A revolution forces began in Soviet Chinese. Their missions were still in development. I have to find out their story coming soon. Overall, Mental Omega was a challenging game for me. Each side you will play 3 subfactions each. The Allies you will play USA, Euro Alliance and Pacific Front. The Soviets you will play Russia, Latin Confederation, and China. Yuri’s Epsilon you will play PsiCorps, Scorpion Cell and Epsilon Headquarters. And the Foehns you will play Hailhead, Wings of Coronia and Last Bastion.
