Organic dog food is ok and a definite trendy thing right now. As you mentioned, the main drawback is the cost. For my pup, I just read the ingredients and go from there and whether he likes it. I tried some pricey organic food which he did not like. Right now, he eats a brand called Fromm-which is organic, pricey but he loves it! The ingredients are very good.
