Peter Stringfellow dies at Age 77.
Club proprietor Peter Stringfellow has passed on at the age of 77, a representative has said.
The businessperson, who had cancer which he had kept private, passed on in the early stretches of Thursday morning
The supposed King of Clubs opened numerous scenes around the globe and his eponymous club in London's West End turned into a magnet for famous people.
The Beatles, The Kinks and Jimi Hendrix were among those he booked in his six decades in the business.
His family have requested security. He leaves behind his better half, Bella, and four kids.
His publicist, Matt Glass stated: "It's extremely tragic news. He passed away in the early long periods of toward the beginning of today. It was kept exceptionally private, he would not like to tell. He needed to keep it a mystery."
He included that the Stringfellows club in Covent Garden will keep on operating "as should be expected".
Previous boxing champion Frank Bruno was among those to pay tribute, depicting him as "an awesome person and ruler of the discos".
