Why Perspective Is Everything
There's a lot of people out there that will say "its all a matter of perspective" but how many actually experience what it's like to shift perspective on something or someone? In all reality, it's just a matter of choice. You can choose to see someone as an amazingly beautiful person or you can choose to see that same person as a devilish monstrous person. But in reality, that person is just a neutral person going about their lives and doing the best they can with what they have at that moment.
A great mentor of mine always said: "change the way you see things and the things you see will change". This has had a massive impact on my life because I actually implemented it. If your completely responsible for everything that has happened in your life (you're not a victim) changing your perspective is really easy because you're in control of your perspective. You're in control of how you see your entire reality. For Example: If you get in an argument with your friend, your most likely going to see him/her as a negative person after that argument which will result in more arguments. So instead of continuing to see that person as negative after you get into an argument, choose to see them as someone that might have a lot going on their lives or someone who is just confused on a subject.
The problem is that most people don't implement any of the tools given to them like this article for example. So what stops people from actually implementing knowledge into their lives? From my personal experience, it comes down to limiting beliefs created by society. People are so stuck on doing what 99% of the population is doing instead of branching out and trying something new in this short life that we have.
I hope you found this short article valuable.
