The other day, I showed you some of the calendula flowers we had harvested from the garden.

They are so very pretty and also so useful!! As you can see on the picture, a cup maker also thought that they are pretty and used them as a decoration on this cup which was a freebie from Baker’s Creek Seed Company.

I picked it up at the last Permaculture Voices Conference in San Diego.

The jar next to the cup is filled with flowers and my roommate is brewing a concoction that is supposed to be good for the skin - for dogs and humans alike.

Miss BB needs that since she keeps scratching and her skin looks irritated - and we need it too.

Today, it was done and she filled it into a spray bottle and treated all skin areas in need of treatment. My arms do feel nice now.
