Just a bit, but then our regular quince don't really have much goo on the seeds. The cores are rich in pectin but you have to boil them to extract it.

I made quince sauce this year... oh yes lots of pectin!! The seeds have so much mucilage when water is added, I was very surprised. I will have to post about it soon, you've inspired me :)
