To perceive is important, a key factor in what makes humans so adept at survival.
Perception applies to the eyes, but also the mind. The mind is said to 'see' beyond the physical perceptions provided by our eyes. Collecting pieces of visual data streamlines seeing reality. Collecting pieces of cognitive data streamlines seeing how visually-disconnected parts of reality relate or correspond.
Grasping something thoroughly first starts with an input of the information, visual or otherwise.
All of the bits of data are parts that form a whole, like a puzzle.
Observing and learning through life gives us more pieces of the puzzle.
Humanity has a long history of sharing knowledge to arrive at a common understanding about something. Academia, media and the scientific establishment all play a part in influencing our perception of reality. These can be looked at as perception management factors in our lives.
What is perceived with the eyes or the mind's eye is what provides a perception of reality.
Sharing is caring as they say, so let's share knowledge. It's free and fun! Open-source the knowledge of the world :)
