Some of the chillies had fallen off the plant and were getting lost in the grass below so I don't recommend waiting until 2nd December to pick.
We've really learnt a lot this year. We'll be starting again in 2019. Not sure I'd want to grow cabbage again because it gets devoured by caterpillars.
