78 Anniversary of the LDS(Mormons) church Relief Socity Organization
Last March 17,2018, our church celebrated the 78 anniversary of the Relief Society. This is the auxilliary organization of the church church for us women whose rule is to support the priesthood of the church, help in the domestic affairs of the church and act as the light , inspiration of the home.
So for this years celebration , the theme was LDS pioneer days. So we women mmebers came to the anniversary Celebration dressed in costumes of those years....in aprons, in old English long dress,with headresses reminiscent of the old England ladies!What a sight to see. Its as if i was in a time machine back to those pioneer days.

I was glad to meet other sisters from other wards (church) in their one of a kind , beautiful and artistic attires like my former classmate during our graduate schools sister Nelida her beautiful pioneer red dress and AMy in her beautiful complete costumes in my favorite blue color. Wearing of the period cosutme was a constest and i can 't help but gasp oh my if I am the judge they will be some of the winners.!

we where also entertained by the presentations of different branches . I was really amazed at the creativity of the
Alangalang , Leyte Branch sisters. They pesented the Buffalo Trail using a monoblock chair as carriage,with old women, children nourishing mothers are props and actressess.jpg)
and to thier singing of "Come,come Ye Saints"
One branch also presented the plight of modern day sisters in the midst of social persecution because of our peculiarities, this time , with a young member member penchantly playing the violen and another young sister interpreting the song Count your Blessing...
