Maybe those are the perks when the immigration problem is controlled that will get Americans out into the 120F heat in the California summer. Or, maybe it is to flood California with illegals. who knows. Probably the latter.
I looked into picking crops a year or two ago when there were claims the vineyards were paying $22/hour, but all I could see was $10/hour jobs online. Just a PR stunt apparently. I was considering a legal apprenticeship program out that way, but then I saw how corrupt even the federal courts really are and the need to leave the USA.
