Why would anyone do that. If you'r getting something extra with your great post then what's the problem with it.
Hi @r-a-h-u-l, an author can decline a payment for any reason they feel like, however, they may feel particularly inclined to refuse payment if they are promoting a product or service outside of Steemit that they will receive compensation for.

It is just a choice of the author. You can pick any of the three options above and so does anybody else.
