TRUST THE LORD AND COMMIT YOUR MIND TO HIS WORD

Proverbs 16:3 NIV

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”

“Lord, I commit my day to you. My mind is stayed on your Word all through the day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!” This was Felicia’s daily confession as she prepared for her day. Little wonder she was always joyful, and others observed this about her and complimented her for it. It was obvious the Word was her focus daily. That’s what the Lord wants for you. So set definite times of fellowship with the Holy Spirit and stay focused on God’s Word like never before. Every now and then, speak in tongues and talk to the Lord about your goals, and He’ll help you achieve them (Psalm 37:5).

Isaiah 26:3 says about God, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” The phrase translated “perfect peace” in the verse above implies peace with prosperity. That’s what you enjoy when you keep your mind on the Lord. Take your mind away from the negative news and media information pervading the airwaves, and stay your mind on the Lord and His eternal Word. Discipline your mind this way, and you’d have good success, prosperity with peace.

You see, your mind is where God seeks to work. If He can get a hold of your mind, you can become as healthy, prosperous, and successful as He wants you to be. Your mind is the doorway to your spirit, and out of your spirit proceed the issues of life. No matter how “down” you may have been, all you need is for God’s Word to get into your system, and things will change in a moment of time! God’s Word is His recipe for divine health, wealth, and the glorious life. Trust the Lord and stay focused on His Word.
