1975 Trailer House Bathtub
I am excited. Painting bathtubs is becoming quite common. However, the whole kit just seemed like way too much work for a not-so-nice old metal bathtub. There are some fairly large chips in the paint. So, I improvised, and spray painted it. Using regular enamel spray paint. I did sand the tub first, with some fine sandpaper. It looks so much nicer.
After one can of spray paint (I will touch up with the second can):

This is the paint I used, it was around $4.50 a can. I bought 2.
Time will tell if it holds up, but for around five bucks, if it doesn't, we can just paint it again!
