Life in September
A lot of things have been happening over the last bit of summer.
We’ve been remodeling our kitchen (finally) and my mother was in town from Detroit for a couple weeks.
Hubby’s parents made their annual trip in from Ohio & have been here for 2 weeks, as well. I’ve seen way more of them than I did my own mother but this is not the post for that!!
We were able to do a fun charity event at the place hubs works, Cocktails for Cars, where the ticket prices go to help restore the old cars at the museum. We got comped tickets because hubs was nice enough to step in as photographer after the original guy decided to up & move away!!
It’s a cocktail party where local patrons of the museum bring their own classics to show off.

Tonight is our last dinner with his folks & then we have a couple more days of strangers in our kitchen but then by Tuesday life returns to normal.
Orbit has had his routine shaken to the core so we are just trying to keep his bad behavior at bay until we have adequate time to devote to more training.
Actual vacation in October means his first experience with our pet/house sitter. He knows her but she is used to Moxie’s old lady routine & this guy is a pain in the ass when he doesn’t get his way. I think she’ll get more dollars for this gig!!
