Paragliding Talk |Episode #25 | Jordan Neidinger | PPG-Free Flight Instructor
Jordan is one of the first guys I talked to when I was wanting to get in the air.
I took the boys to the glider port on afternoon and met Jordan when he was training someone and taking tandems.
Jordan has a long history of flying.
He started flying in Texas. He was telling me that there was no one to train him back in those days so he had to do some self teaching. That is one of the more dangerous things that you can do in this sport. Its not recommended. The best way to get your feet off the ground safe is to get some training.
The day that I went to the glider port, Jordan found out that I had purchased my own gear, and he was mad.
He was walking around the landing zone asking tandem pilots if they would fly a 15 yo wing. I was super discouraged after talking to him that I almost put flying on the back burner to save up and get training.
The main issue that I was having was getting enough money and time off work to go and get training.
When you want to do something like this and it is all that you think about, you will go crazy until you make it happen. So, I made it happen. Don't try this at home kids
A handful of pilots have told me that Jordan has a great wealth of knowledge when it comes to weather.
So on this show, we are going to talk about weather. We are going to invite some special guests from previous shows as well. Like @allenthoe who was on the show a few weeks back. He is actually the one who recommended that I reach out to Jordan to have him on the show.
This is going to be a great show.
Jordan started in PPG (Powered Paragliding). He later moved to So Cal to teach free flight. There will be some great opportunities to ask questions about how to get into the sport and how to be safe if you are a pilot.

Paragliding is a passion...I love to see those paragliders weaving softly around Moon Point, their legs floating above you in the air. When they drift in for a landing, their feet touch the ground and they trot forward from the continued motion of the glider
Awesome work, boss.
keep it up
