I'm not a great user of pedals, but I've got a few. Getting a good overdrive sound is important for many and there are loads of pedals for that or you can get an amplifier that does it. I got my Zoom multi-effects to play with different sounds. Delays, phaser, wah are all fun. To be honest I've worked more in my playing and as I don't gig much (on electric at least) the effects have not got much attention.
The gig is at the George in Baldock at 8. I may post about it. I'm hoping some friends will come along. Would be great to see you there.
Cool, I have been toughening up my fingers. I didn't realise just how long I hadn't played for. (way too many years) but the knowledge is still there and I just need to practice and it will all come back I'm pretty sure.
I do have overdrive and reverb on the amp that came as part of the package that I bought and wanted to try out a Delay pedal and a Looper pedal.
I found a few phone apps that can do Delays and Looping and have been playing with them a bit. But time is tight right now.
I may just use OBS to record backing tracks. I saw a fellow steemian do just that and it worked well.
It would be great if you could make it Steve.
Tell me, what pedals do you recommend for the guitar? I've been trying out some 'virtual pedals' but not to impressed so far?
Also where is the gig on Saturday? I'd like to come along if possible? I know it's in Baldock somewhere.

Check out @elisonr13 for a demo of this method.
I will hopefully make it to the George in Baldock assuming nothing gets in the way. It's been a while since I attended a real live gig.
My last live gig was to see Pink Floyd in Hyde Park a few years back! Jeez time flies!?
