Xiangyang Park by night: Shanghai

I was walking last night and I ended up in this beautiful place.

This park was supposed to be office building, a square for kids but because of the WWII and people disagreed with this project, it ended and it became a Park. It was first named Lan Weina Park, in honor to Lan Weina, a French diplomate in China who fell during the anti-German battle in 1939. It was renamed Taishan Park in 1943, Linsen Park in 1946 (after the anti Japonese war), and finally Xiangyang Park in 1950.

It reminds me the French classic gardens, which are really symmetrics, well organized like the one in Versaille (France).

Very good place to chill.
