Port Barton, Philippines - A Hidden Gem

When you think of Palawan, Philippines one automatically assumes El Nido or Coron. I agree, these two are no doubt the BEST there is for everyone. But if you want a more relaxing environment with less tourists and cheaper food, go for Port Barton. It has a bit of everything Palawan from the corals, to the fish, to the beaches and the food! It's not as tourist-y as Coron or El Nido where almost every establishment has a gimmick for tourists. Port Barton is as genuine as genuine gets. A perfect mix of locals and tourists and the locals get to legitimately live their lives uninvaded by the mass population of tourists.
