Life with chronic pain
Hi all, this is my first post on the site so I would like to say hello.
I am in my mid twenties and I suffer with chronic pain. I have a condition called fibromyalgia and for those of you who do not know what fibromyalgia is it is widespread pain and fatigue. Currently there is no cure for the condition so it is something that I am going to have to live with forever.
Fibromyalgia makes it hard to carry out the day to day tasks that some people would find easy such as washing the car, ironing, washing up, making the bed but I try my best to get through all of these things even though I know I will pay for them in the days to come.
Aside from the pain, the worst thing about living with pain people can't see is the fact that the world is full of ignorance around it. I have made it my mission to discuss chronic pain in as many place as possible in order to get the message out there. People suffer in pain, just because you can't see it it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
Thanks for listening :)
