I don't know who I am anymore. I sometimes wake up feeling like a hero who has to save the planet in silence as part of an unspoken network of underground heroes everywhere doing their little parts in their bodies and homes.

It's scary knowing that our bodies are temporary and that our lives are depended on a fragile biological form. Some people say that just because we have so many lives on the planet now, that decreases the value of each individual life and I reject that completely.

each life may be genetically similar to others, but the path each life traveled with its own unique genetic code and experiences in time can provide so many keys to problems that have haunted us for generations. Who cares about moving to mars if we can't even appreciate a thriving environment. We can't even figure out how to thrive without killing other conscious beings for sustenance, shouldn't we figure that out first. I am trying to figure it out, but I seem like a crazy person telling people the truth only to be hated and shunned from future rewards.

I wouldn't care about rewards if I didn't have to pay money to exist on a safe piece of land, but that's the planet I am on now and going to try and do the best with the time I have today:
