The Fatigue of Words

“The heaviest words are the ones that are never said.”

Some sentences get stuck in the throat, reach the tip of the tongue but don’t fall to the ground…
The things you keep silent about grow inside you over time; their weight is carried like a burden.

I thought as I wrote this quote:
Sometimes a person remains silent for years because they can’t say a word.
