MY WAY TO STEEMIT

Hi, everyone here. Am Abdulwahab Tajudeen by name i got introduced to this by a friend so nice and kind to me, he's here on steemit before me, whenever i need help i went to him for help and he has not for once cease to help me and I found that gesture beloved. On this faithful day on the 26 of January 2018, i went to him for help, I didn't resist to help me but he also told me if I can be able to get one small phone there is a platform where I will be rewarded for my writeup been an English student in one University in Nigeria. I thanked him for this, but he told me it's not sure enough until my account is approve and it will take like seven days and if am fortunate enough it will not more than three to four days.
I started counting and borrowing phones around to check if my account has been approved, fortunately for me my account was approved yesterday around 3:30pm Nigeria time, when I checked.
My want here is that am begging all members of steemit who can upvote my post to raise 50,000 naira,and that's 140.06 USD.
This money is needed for my final year project and some stuffs like food, accommodation and transport among other.

I've been thinking on how to improve the youth of our society (Nigeria) until I came across this positive minded centre. International Media Training Centre (IMTC) an eyes open centre that believes in every individuals. Positive mind about everything, centre that teaches how to break out of your shell and live a positive life. Think positive about yourself because, "you cannot feature in the life you cannot picture". Kudos to all the organizers of this educating program.
Back to my piece of words for we youths:
Youth is certainly the most exciting time and stage of life. There is dynamism, there is energy, there is vigour, there is beauty, there is freshness, there is dream, there is idealism, there is time, there is hope and normally there is health and there is life spread wide open and full of opportunities and adventures ahead of the youthful spirit,mind and soul embedded or tented in a youthful body. Youth is a period of restless bubbling energy when realism can substitute fantasy, need can substitute want, hope can substitute despair, love can substitute hatred, joy can substitute sorrow, usefulness can substitute uselessness. Youth is not normally encumbered or shackled by the circumstances of their past life or lifestyle. Their life may be marred or shackled by the legacy of parents or family relations but these are usually not permanent clothes they cannot unwear and then design their own attire to suit their own nature, time or period, character, aspiration and desire. Youths normally have no terrifying, disabling or debilitating past that could haunt them. Their parents or family members who may be so shackled or handicapped are individuals who must normally take responsibility for their own lives and their own acts rather than sins of the father being visited on the son or that of the uncle being visited on the nephew except they are accomplices.
A generation can be burdened though by the sins of their elders especially when they are beneficiaries of the loot and the pleasures of the sins of their elders knowingly or unknowingly becoming accomplices. Rosy, exciting, beautiful, hopeful, exhilarating, promising, as the period of youth may be, it has its difficulties, problems, dangers and pitfalls which can be avoided and which men and women in the past have surmonted and scaled over unscathed with the grace of God. Youth is even more beautiful when it is attained by a righteous life and living.
I agree with the saying that conveys the impression that we are as old as we look and as young as we feel. Age or youth is a state of mind. Hope is the most important sustainer of youth. If you have ceased dreaming realistically or you have left your dream behind, if hope is cold or you have forlorn hope, if you no longer look ahead or you have no cheerful expectation, if your ambition's fires are quenched, then no matter your age, you are no longer a youth. Hope must be kept alive to keep youthfulness. Everything that is done in the world is done because hope is kept alive and kicking. No farmer will plant a grain or corn if he does not hope to reap a harvest. No bachelor or, spinster will marry without the hope of joy and blessing of marriage in harmonious life possibly with children. No trader will transact any business without the hope of profitable return. Hope is an important sustainer of life as it is a sustainer of youth. We are the sum total of everything we feel, indeed think, need, desire, say, do and omit. Because we are wonderfully created, our nature is both the work and the will of God.
What you do in your youth matters. Many of your choices and decisions will be irreversible - they will stay with you for a lifetime. What you do when you are young does not only matter but may be decisive and have permanent effect and implicatons for your life and other people's lives. Your idea of enjoying life must not lead you to anything physically, morally or spiritually that will prevent you or others from enjoying life when old: A life lonely and hopeless at old age. The excitement of youth can become a barrier to closeness with God, if it makes young people focus on passing pleasures instead of eternal values.
The bitter fruits of humanistic philosophies and neglect are now being harvested in disorientation, spiritual vulnerability, moral decay, rejection of authority, wide spread drug abuse, organised fraud and crimes and mindless violence. The youths deserve special attention not only because they are the leaders of tomorrow but also because they are in the majority. To neglect the youth is to neglect the society and to destroy the future. We must remember that every inclination of the heart of man is evil from childhood. He needs the goodness, the godliness and the grace of God to replace the evil inclination.
