App is not able to disable the security protection.{password}

Expected behaviour.

After downloading the this app from f_droid,
I went to options section {▪▪▪} , after that i clicked on security Alteration, there created a security protection passwords, but after creating an security protection passwords, the app should be able to remove/ disable the security protection password successfully.

Actual behaviour.

After creating security protection passwords,
App was not able to disable it.

How to reproduce.

• install the inbox pager from f_droid.

• Go to options section and click on security Alteration.

• Create a security protection password.

• AT last try to disable it.

• Operating system : Android 7.0

• Version : 2.2

• Device Model : J7 prime 2017.
