I love everything about the Eels; the music and the man.

He has a documentary called Parallel Words, Parallel Lives - if you haven't seen it, or heard of it already. It's a wonderful mix of his music, his own and and his family's life story.

It's always nice hearing covers of music I'm so fond of.

Sounds a bit your own, but if you've made it that, it probably means you like it as much as I do, and that's just cool.

I have seen that and I read his book too. He's had a lot of tragedy in his life

Great, I figured as much. He has, and I think it's given him a foundation for some really great lyrics. His music just draws you into this whole other world, not that it's necessarily otherwordly in some alien way, but that's it's just so much him, his own creation.

"Elizabeth On The Bathroom Floor", that's where you hear it, the bad stuff, the sad stuff; that whole album. But it's beautiful, and that's the fun thing about memories, we can kinda choose what to make of them. And he's talented enough that his angle is something to really admire, even if it is drawn from tragedy.

Great playing here. Singing and playing is hard...
And I think that the song suits your voice too. ^^

I think it suits my vocal range

You have a great talent in playing the guitar, how wonderful you sing, I enjoyed this singing Thank you, I hope to hear more from you,@steevc

I know how good I am and I wouldn't say I have a wonderful voice ;) Thanks anyway. I have plenty of other songs on my feed

I Resteemed this post for you

That's nice, but as you only have 6 followers it's not a big deal. I'm more interested in what you think of it

Cool, nice one

This is an old Eels song I really liked and decided to learn some years ago. I still perform it now and again. I think it suits my vocal range, but I have to find the right place to take a breath in the chorus.
thanks for sharing

Repeating what I said has no value...
