What’s up Steemit Community!!!

It is an immense pleasure for me to participate in this prestigious OpenMic contest in its 99th week. In this opportunity I present myself performing the Venezuelan Cuatro in a cover of the musical work entitled "Santa Morena" by the excellent Brazilian composer named Jacob Pick Bitencourt whom he affectionately they called him Jacob do Bandolín; perhaps the greatest mandolin player in Brazilian music in its history. Jacob is a universal musical reference and made the Choro Brasilero a whole apology of the most genuine and identity creation of the Brazilian culture.

In this case of "Santa Morena", the work denotes a European influence by the Andalusian musical cadence and, at the same time, proposes a powerful ternary rhythm that is sustained, in this recreation in the Peruvian Cajón and in the Venezuelan Cuatro, so the melodic line is clear, spontaneous and freely and freely.

In the case of Santa Morena, although it is not the most well-known work by this author, it clearly represents the enormous influence of Spanish music, a particular thing in Jacob because, as I said before, his musical work emphasizes the Choro Brasileiro .

Es un inmenso placer para mí participar en este prestigioso concurso OpenMic en su semana número 99. En esta oportunidad me presento ejecutando el Cuatro venezolano en un Cover de la obra musical titulada “Santa Morena” del excelente compositor brasilero llamado Jacob Pick Bitencourt a quien cariñosamente le decían Jacob do Bandolín; quizás el más grande mandolinista de la música brasileña en toda su historia. Jacob es una referencia musical universal e hizo del Choro Brasilero toda una apología de la creación más genuina e identitaria de la cultura brasilera.

En este caso de “Santa Morena”, la obra denota una influencia europea por la cadencia musical andaluza y, al mismo tiempo, propone un poderoso ritmo ternario que se sustenta, en esta recreación en el Cajón Peruano y en el Cuatro Venezolano por lo que la línea melódica se manifiesta clara, espontánea y de manera libre y holgada.

En el caso de Santa Morena, aunque no es la obra más conocida de este autor, si representa, claramente, la enorme influencia de la música española, cosa particular en Jacob pues, como dije anteriormente, su obra musical hace énfasis en el Choro Brasilero.
