Steemit Open Mic Week 97 - Introduce Ourselves (Jam Improvisado)
¡Saludos amantes de la buena música! El día de hoy queremos presentarnos, pero para eso queremos hacer algo divertido. En primer lugar, quiero que nos respondan a la siguiente interrogante:
¿Alguna vez han escuchado algún talento que les ha hecho decir en sus mentes algo como:
- «¡¿Pero de dónde salió esta persona?!»
- «¿Por qué nadie la/lo conoce si es tan talentoso(a)?»
- «Si pudiera lanzarlo hacia el estrellato definitivamente lo lanzaría a la radio/TV»?
Si la respuesta es «sí» pues acaba de nacer una alternativa para apoyar a esos talentos emergentes que tenemos muy cerca pero que:
- No saben de Steemit o de la STEEM Blockchain.
- Tienen mucho talento y pasión como para hacer dinero con su música.
- Nunca han utilizado un blog o no saben qué hacer con uno.
- Simplemente nunca han terminado de dar el paso para volverse épicamente geniales
Esta iniciativa es conocida como Guacamaya Music & Media pero pueden llamarnos GuacaMedia.
¿Ok pero... qué les podemos ofrecer?
Como dice nuestra descripción en el blog: somos una red de músicos, compositores, productores y artistas dementes que adoptaron la STEEM Blockchain para hacer algunos desastres. Estamos completamente comprometidos con el crecimiento de esta hermosa plataforma y para ello estaremos realizando las siguientes actividades:
- Actuaremos como «cazadores de talentos» en Venezuela para buscar músicos que deseen monetizar su arte con cada performance que podamos planificar.

- Conociendo la cantidad de concursos que tenemos dentro de Steemit, estaremos produciendo material musical de calidad para participaciones en dichos concursos.
- Seremos «mentores» de Steemit y la STEEM Blockchain para que las personas realicen las mejores prácticas en la plataforma y nos ayuden a seguir expandiendo la red.
- Además de lo planteado en el punto 1 también crearemos material musical de calidad para las diversas plataformas descentralizadas que aprovechan la STEEM Blockchain tales como Dtube, Dlive, Dsound, etc.
¿Con qué contamos?
Actualmente tenemos tres estudios a disposición: Uno para las grabaciones y las mezclas principales (primera foto) y dos para mezclas auxiliares y mastering.
Tenemos un área de ensayo y/o grabación (segunda foto) mientras vamos creciendo y mejorando los espacios.
Tenemos la experiencia en el ámbito musical en Steemit dentro del staff, el conocimiento en producción musical (mezcla, mastering), composición y la pasión para trabajar fuertemente para el buen desarrollo del material musical de calidad en Steemit.

Artistas "piloto" de nuestro proyecto
Actualmente dentro del equipo ya tenemos dos artistas a los que les estamos comenzando a realizar el trabajo. Inclusive antes del lanzamiento de este #introduceyourself ya han hecho un poco de ruido dentro la plataforma al haber quedado en el tercer lugar del Steemit Open Mic en la semana número 94.
Nota: La señorita @kimugas23 pudo crear su cuenta con parte del dinero recaudado por esa victoria en el Steemit Open Mic (26 STEEM) de la cuenta de @jotadiaz12; se le pagó la creación de la cuenta y actualmente se están desarrollando y planificando los próximos vídeos a subir a la plataforma.
Un Introduceyourself diferente
Cada proyecto tiene una manera particular de presentarse ante esta hermosa plataforma, nosotros elegimos presentarnos haciendo un pequeño proyecto divertido: grabar un vídeo para el Steemit Open Mic y cantar tres canciones aleatorias con todo el equipo presente ya que hoy estuvimos trabajando los próximos vídeos a subir.
Las canciones seleccionadas fueron: "Caraluna" de Bacilos, "De música ligera" de Soda Stereo y "Wake Me Up" de Avicii.
Como verán a continuación no es un vídeo planificado, simplemente todo fluyó en el estudio y así queremos decir: ¡HOLA STEEMIT, NOSOTROS SOMOS @guacamedia!

Greetings music lovers! Today we want to introduce ourselves, for that we want to do something really really fun. In first place, I want you to answer the following question:
Have you ever heard any talent that has made you say something in your minds like:
- "But where did this person come from?!"
- "Why doesn't anyone know him/her if he/she is so talented?"
- "If I could launch he/she towards the fame, I would definitely launch he/she to the radio/TV"?
If the answer is "yes" then an alternative has just been born to support those emerging talents that we have very close that have the next troubles or facts:
- They don't know about Steemit or the STEEM Blockchain.
- They have a lot of talent and passion to make money with their music.
- They've never used a blog or don't know what to do with one.
- They've just never finished taking the step to become epically great
This initiative is known as Guacamaya Music & Media but you can call us GuacaMedia.
Ok but ... what can we offer to you?
As our description says on the blog: we are a network of musicians, composers, producers and demented artists who adopted the STEEM Blockchain to do some disasters. We are completely committed to the growth of this beautiful platform, with that mission and objective we'll be doing the following activities:
- We'll act as "talent hunters" in Venezuela to find musicians who wish to monetize their art with each performance we can plan.

- Knowing the number of contests that we have within Steemit, we'll be producing quality musical material to participate in these competitions.
- We'll be "Steemit and STEEM Blockchain mentors" so that people can carry out the best practices in the platform and help us to continue expanding the network.
- In addition to what we said in point 1, we're going to create quality music material for the various decentralized platforms that take advantage of the STEEM Blockchain such as Dtube, Dlive, Dsound, etc.
What equipment do we have?
We currently have three studies available: One for recordings and main mixes (first photo) and two for auxiliary mixes and mastering.
We have a rehearsal and/or recording area (second photo) as we grow and improve the spaces.
We have experience in the musical field at Steemit within our staff, knowledge in musical production (mixing, mastering), composition and the passion to work hard for the good development of quality musical material at Steemit.

Our Project's "pilot" artist
Currently within the team we already have two artists who are beginning to do the work. Even before the launch of this #introduceyourself they've already made a bit of noise inside the platform, winning the third place of Steemit Open Mic in week number 94.
Oh yes, we're talking about @kimugas23 and @jotadiaz12. These guys are very good artists, each with a lot of skill in a particular area (Kim is an excellent vocalist and Armando is a guitarist with a lot of expertise) who were selected as "pilot artists" for our first work as motivators and (one might say) coachs in Steemit, as well as musical producers of their performances.
Note: Miss @kimugas23 was able to create her account with part of the money raised from that victory in the Steemit Open Mic (26 STEEM) of the @jotadiaz12 account; Her account was paid for the creation and we're currently developing and planning the next videos to upload to the platform.
A different way to Introduceyourself
Each project has a particular way of presenting itself to this beautiful platform, we chose to present ourselves doing a fun little project: record a Steemit Open Mic entry and sing three random songs with all the present team because today We were working the next videos to upload.
The selected songs were: "Caraluna" by Bacilos, "De música ligera" by Soda Stereo and "Wake Me Up" by Avicii .
As you'll see below it is not a planned video, everything just flowed in the studio and we want to say: HELLO STEEMIT, WE ARE @guacamedia!

For now we don't have a curation trail since the project will be (at the moment) to create quality music content for the Steemit competitions and decentralized platforms that are foreign to the platform but co-related.
