One Plus 5T: Specs And Price

According to leaks, the upcoming smartphone will cost be the same as OnePlus 5. This would peg the OnePlus 5T price in India at Rs. 32,999 and Rs. 37,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, respectively. However, CEO Pete Lau recently tweeted that the cost of smartphone components has been rising, and that OnePlus users will appreciate what’s coming. So for now, it’s anybody’s guess what the final pricing for the handset will be.

OnePlus has confirmed some of the features of its next flagship, such as the presence of the 3.5mm audio jack and the absence of wireless charging. And going by leaks, OnePlus 5T will have a 6-inch full-HD+ display, making it not only the brand’s first phone with 18:9 aspect ratio but also its largest yet. Other key features include Snapdragon 835 chipset, fingerprint sensor moved to the back, dual camera setup with OIS, larger image sensors than those of OnePlus 5, 3450mAh battery. As for the Android version, some leaks suggest it will come with Oreo on board, while others point to Android Nougat.

The OnePlus 5T will go on sale in India on November 21 at 4:30pm IST via Amazon India, exclusively for Prime members. A week later, on November 28, it will become available for purchase for all users via not only Amazon but also Oneplusstore.in website and OnePlus offline stores. The company says 1.1 million people in India have registered to receive updates about the smartphone within a week of the page going live on the e-commerce website.
