Change your office space! Historical Amsterdam building

So today is change your office day. Couldn't let that opportunity go to waste (we shouldn't let anything go to waste of course, but let's not dwell on that for now). So I would like to show you around in our office in Amsterdam. Truly an act of changing your space. We are located in a historic "grachtenpand" (a canal house) at the center of Amsterdam. Typically Dutch: we rent it "anti-kraak". That means it is being protected by occupation.

So this is the front door. Not much to see here of course, but it is where every journey starts. Kind of.

This is the office we use in this building. Behind that door is a small room, where we can store someone that is annoying us. And the garden is a very good place to eat your sandwich in the summers. Just a shame those summers last for about three days here in Amsterdam.

This is my own favorite feature of the office. The beautiful scenes depicted high in our walls.

This is what we did with the room. An inspiration, homely feel was what we were going for.

And this is me, working in this beautiful office. I would love for you to follow me on my journey for more space in my life and head, but I still have to make money. As you can see, I have tried to create as much order and space on my desk as well. And when I need my moment of zen, I can cimply turn around and stare at that beautiful garden.
