Not quite clear on your plans and layout for the battery room, although it looks like a BIG area just for batteries... How many batteries do you intend on having? I have 6 and the space i use it tiny (around 4 ft long by 2ft wide by 2 ft high (max)). I also use Sealed lead acid batteries (100ah), i use them every day and never go below 50% charge and they have lasted me 4 years so far.... My last batteries lasted 5 years...
(If you are planning to have a wind turbine ensure you DO NOT install it on the roof or attached to your house - Why=because the reverberation and noise will drive you nuts (ive done it)).
If you intend to have your batteries in your living space, ventilation may be a problem! The batteries will 'vent off' or 'gas-off' occasionaly.
