OCD DAILY - Issue #37

Welcome to the 37th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #37 highlights content from nine (9) marvellous yet underrated Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team on its journey continues to search tirelessly throughout Steemit for undervalued gems as provided by relatively new users.

Today our (20) curators, under our steadfast leader, @acidyo, have delivered nine wonderful pieces of original content to share with you! These works as provided by newer steemit users don’t have the audience in which their content deserves. @OCD strives to provide that audience and to showcase Steemit users that put in the effort to create quality content.

The nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work give them a Follow or maybe even say hello

All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Happiness is such a subjective matter and we all have our own definition for it, each person has diverse methods to achieve it but one thing is certain: We all strive for it. Our brilliant member @guyfawkes4-20 found an amazing piece of content written by @marcaprio where he profundizes into this subject. Where does the common ground for happiness lies for each individual and as a group? Click HERE to read plenty of thoughts and some advice about this fragile yet interesting topic.

Aloha! @islandliving is a girl living in Hawaii and she is enjoying every second of it, the username tells it all right? Our traveler member @anomadsoul found this piece where the author takes us not in one but into two magical journeys across her home island! Not for the faint of heart, Click HERE to walk a trail with her and after that join her in a seven hour hike to a summit on the south east part of this paradisiacal island. Mahalo!

Our science member, wonderful @suesa was having trouble finding epic content until she read @rt395 and his amazing post! This treasure hunter takes us on a tour on the collection he´s gathered from around the world. Click HERE to learn some cool facts about aquamarine and its properties! He is doing this kind of posts every week so don´t forget to follow him to learn more about minerals.

Do you enjoy reading or are you a writer in the making? Do you like fiction? Do you admire people who starts community driven projects? Well, @kryptik just found for you the perfect user, @rhondak shares with us a piece of her fiction repertoir Click HERE if you are ready to jump into a friendship narrated as a descriptive dialogue with a monologue inside the head of the protagonist. You better watch out because you might end up having a lot in common with this main girl´s perspective.

We all like videos. This trend of putting everything on a video instead of writing is becoming more and more present. Our dear member @cem took the time to go through some videos and found a treu gem. @elenahornfilm started doing some documentaries in the past but now she´s become an expert. They say a good film director - or documentary in this case - can make a great video out of the simplest of subjects. Click HERE to watch this 10 minute piece about a simple subject: London´s subway and the daily life of its passengers. High dozes of crude reality to be consumed by the viewers, be advised!

Silk is considered one of the finest fabrics and the very touch of it transports you to a soft mindset but, have you ever wondered how is it made? @howtostartablog brings to us this post written by @chanta where he takes us on a detailed tour to Cambodia, specifically to a silk farm in the Siem Reap province. Did you know this country is part of the silk road? Click HERE to find everything about silk making in this Asian country, from the worm gathering from the crops to the final product in the stores.

Bipolarity is a delicate subject, especially for those who have suffered first hand or have seen it rather in a friend or family. @laurabean takes this topic and writes an astounding poem right from the heart. Thanks to our post detective @gmuxx you are reading about it right now. Click HERE to read poetry where bipolarity is expressing as a first person , great style Laura.

The art of Crafting... Maybe craft is a tag we should use more on steemit. @jznsamuel found @reinhard-schmid´s post where he lets us come in his workshop and see his step-by-step creation of a wood frame. His dexterity with wood is out of this world but that is not all, he also makes glass paintings! That is the reason he is making this frame. Click HERE to be jealous about his art and to wish you could be this skillful!

We are on a social platform, but that doesn´t mean we are sociable every second of every day. We are social beings but sometimes we make social mistakes and it is something we have to deal with. Our french ambassador @jeanpi1908 brings us this experience from @lindahas. On this piece Linda tells us how she reacted to a conversation and her thoughts about how it should have been, we know you want to read more, click HERE!

Thanks for stopping by as this concludes today’s OCD Daily. We would like to congratulate the authors nominated as well as those featured.

Hopefully, you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from the pieces as provided by the @ocd curators.

The OCD team would also like to thank those that strive to make a difference. As anyone can create a posting but only some can create/build value.

Be sure to check for tomorrow’s edition of OCD Daily!

Keep up the good work creating original content
