OCD DAILY - Issue #27

Welcome to the 27th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #27 highlights content from eight (8) flourishing Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team on its journey continues to search tirelessly throughout Steemit for undervalued gems as provided by relatively new users.

Today our (20) curators, under our steadfast leader, @acidyo, have delivered eight wonderful pieces of original content to share with you! These works as provided by newer steemit users don’t have the audience in which their content deserves. @OCD strives to provide that audience and to showcase Steemit users that put in the effort to create quality content.

The nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work give them a Follow or maybe even say hello

All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Today’s top nomination was curated by @Mk40 who could be seen as a family man and a great ambassador for all things that represent the city of big shoulders. He’d chosen @Dunsky as his work makes for quite the visual stimuli not to mention there are such layers of depth. In his illustration he paints a picture in more than one way as he doesn’t want you to see just the finished product. Also, the tablet in which he is using has shown it is quite capable as that is not always the case. Click HERE to know what was used from a hardware standpoint and the layers that make up the final rendering.

Our Second Piece as curated by @GuyFawkes4-20: @Donnaincancun has a love for turtles that can be seen as given the photos throughout the posting itself. Along the shorelines of Cancun, Mexico turtles seemingly find their way as it is a temporary home until it isn’t. Click HERE if you like turtles and would like to see some pretty cool pics of some.

Our Third Piece as curated by @Jacobchamplain: @Mikebluehair23 is a crusader of sorts in regard to what is now in fact a police state. A lot of people don’t want to see what’s going on in their own backyard, as it would mean there is in fact a problem. He patrols throughout the city of Portland to ensure law enforcement officers are doing their job. Click HERE if you’d like to have a better understanding of his journey toward a more civil society.

Our Fourth Piece as curated by @Anomadsoul: @Abishai writes about one of his former students by the name of Thomas who would sometimes find a bit his way toward relaxation in the class more than he should have. Over time that same student would go on to play the devil’s advocate with his peers and maybe he did or maybe he did not go on to pursue great things. Click HERE to find out which path Thomas took as well as find out how and why he’d gotten there.

Our Fifth Piece as curated by @Howtostartablog: @Ovij brings an awareness to the table that everyone should have regardless of age. Have you ever had a friend or family member suffer from a heart attack? If someone were having a heart attack or even yourself would you know the warning signs? While there could be a number of warning signs click HERE to better understand one of the more commons signs and learn why.

Our Sixth Piece as curated by @Kryptik: @Callistanix wants the community to know that he appreciates each and every one of you. Also, he wants you to know that he is in fact striving to be a better version of himself everyday without fail. At the age of 19 he seems to have laser like focus and his first posting speaks volumes. Click HERE if you’d like to know more, provide possible tips or simply welcome this young man to the wonderful world of Steemit.

Our Seventh Piece as curated by @Suesa: @Imagicnation wants you to know about a distant relative that some chose not to acknowledge for one reason or another. You’ve seen him around sometimes in an Orchard or maybe even alone. Can you imagine what life is like when you’re just left out in the cold by your own family? Tracing our lineage back in time you’d come to find that we all came from a single-celled organism known as the amoeba. There’s a lot more to that story but if you click HERE you can find out more.

Our Eighth and Final Piece as curated by @Gmuxx: @Johnyliltoe is an amazing storyteller with a tale of purgatory and the need to fully crossover. When we die where do we actually go? Have you ever carried the belief that you’ll simply return as a different creature? Do you think you’ll come back at all? What if you’re existence became a subset of your former self for others to control? Click HERE to get the answers to the questions that really matter in this case.

Thanks for stopping by as this concludes today’s OCD Daily. We would like to congratulate the authors nominated as well as those featured.

Hopefully, you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from the pieces as provided by the @ocd curators.

The OCD team would also like to thank those that strive to make a difference. As anyone can create a posting but only some can create/build value.

Be sure to check for tomorrow’s edition of OCD Daily!

Keep up the good work creating original content

You never know when @ocd may be around :)

As prepared by @jacobchamplain

Gotta love the turtles

hahaha yea the turtle picture was my FAV!!

Wow I am quite impressed with these finds!
Some REALLY good articles and great potential. I am following two of these now and looking for more!

yeah, I picked up two as well... well have to come back to OCD for more up-n-comers, it's a great source

Yes seems like a very high quality project so far. Hopefully the ones they find stick with and become long term contributors.
Thats one thing I don't like about these minnow curation projects is that so many accounts get "help" but then cash out and stop using or get burnt out and stop using or whatever. Then all that steem is kinda wasted for the overall community.

interesting perspective, i hadn't thought about that

Yea, well i have been seriously engaged with the building of this platform/community for over a year now.
Also I ponder and contemplate the economics of everything. Its a very important point no one talks bout but I may write an article about soon.

Congratulations to all the featured writers! :)
The O.C.D daily issue makes my search on Steemit a lot easier. It saves me bags of time! It sends me straight to the good, quality work that is out there!

The other entries are really interesting. Really appreciate being on such a well curated list!
