This would be perfect to make a trivet to put hot saucepans on. I saw one at a friend's house but didn't know how it was made, and I think they must have rolled up your strips to make a disc.

Can you please elaborate on steps 7 and 8 in the second stage, and stage three please? Thanks

    Hi. Thanks for your comment. It can be used as place mats to eat. If it is to put something hot you have to cover it with a transparent heat resistant sheet.

    Hola. gracias por tu comentario. se puede usar como manteles individuales para comer. Si es para poner algo caliente hay que cubrirlo con una lamina trasparente resistente al calor.
