"Callicubism"
I have visited Belgium often in recent years because of the disused industrial heritage, which is much more accessible than in France. Wallonia has a rich history of heavy industry, it is full of very inspiring sites. On the Flemish side, initiatives combining monumental contemporary art and mining remains are numerous and sometimes daring.
This photo was taken in a giant labyrinth made of steel blades, oxidized with the action of time. I wanted to offer a contrast between this structure stemming from cubism and a luminous calligraphy all in curves, supported by a combination of colors certainly classic but very effective.
Lightpainting created in real time, captured to the camera in one single photographic frame.
No layers /no Photoshop / no editing exept minor adjustments (lens correction profite, WB, contrast (+12)) and addition of my logo.

It's a great location pal, I would be happy here!
This is where I brought @fadetoblack, @martbarras, Kim, Dan, Phill & Komeg during Pala's meeting and we had a blast here.
We should manage to meet again in Belgium, it's the more convenient for most of us ;)

Thanks mate. The maze is absolutely awesome, you would love it!
Gorgeous light painting shot. I know the light part happens very quickly in these long exposure shots. But, I'd love to see a slow motion video of the light painting process.

Thanks you so much.
I think about video caption for years and I'm working on something this year.
I'll keep an eye out for it. 😎
