Age 99 for your humble vagabond, will be an election year. Maybe I’ll run for president. I’ll still be 99 when I’m inaugurated, however, by Day 100, I will be 100.

Dick Van Dyke isn’t 100 years of age yet. He’s just about half way there. The hype that the media is shoveling upon him, could kill him before December, when… optimistically, he will celebrate the century.

Dick won’t be the first actor to break the century mark. 100 Years will tie him with George Burns, but he’ll still be 3 years behind Kirk Douglas. We did a search of the longest lived actors. A guy called Norman Lloyd lived 106 years. No telling what the last six years were like. But he’s got the record.

But that’s not what today’s episode is about.

It’s about palindomes. We’re out making corrections to what turned out to be part one of this exploration. We may get to a point where we are investigating the etymology of more words. If you missed the palindrome “deked” (we switched up the spelling of “decade” to fit the theme) this month. Don’t worry. There are more in the pipeline.

By the way… It’s Day 1551. That’s a palindrome. Just a coincidence.

We live in such fascinating times for so many fascinating reasons.
