A day in the life : Day 283

The morning started slow. No alarms, no rush. Just natural light seeping through the curtain and the usual hum of the fan. I stayed in bed longer than I planned, not out of laziness — more like my body needed the pause. Eventually got up and made black tea, no sugar.

Work was scattered today. I kept switching between tasks, trying to find one that felt right to stick with. Wrote a few lines of code for a feature I’ve been meaning to implement — nothing major, just a small UI fix. Sometimes the tiny changes feel more satisfying than the big ones.

Midday, I stepped out to get some fresh air. The sun was sharp, but the breeze made it tolerable. Picked up some fruits on the way back. Simple errands feel grounding when the rest of the day is mostly virtual.

Lunch was light — poha and curd. I ate with the window open, letting the outside sounds mix with my thoughts. No headphones, no distractions. Just letting things be for a bit.

Evening drifted in. I didn’t do much. Opened an old notebook and read some pages I wrote months ago. It felt like a different version of me. A quieter one, maybe more hopeful. I don’t know.

Wrapped up with some stretching. No fancy workout. Just enough to remind my body it exists.

Not a big day. But not a bad one either. Sometimes, that’s more than enough.
