A day in the life : Day 280
The day moved slowly, and I let it. I didn’t try to be efficient. Sometimes I think there’s too much pressure to make every hour count — but today, I didn’t feel like measuring anything. I just followed what felt light.
I started off by checking on one of my apps. Nothing urgent, just reviewing some user feedback and making notes for future updates. A couple of small bugs showed up in edge cases I hadn’t thought of, but nothing broke. That gave me a bit of relief. Quiet days with stable code are underrated.
I read for a while after that. Something technical at first, then drifted to a blog post someone shared about solo living and digital minimalism. It stuck with me — how much noise we invite without realizing. Maybe that’s why I’ve been keeping my phone on silent more these days.
Meals were quick again — toast in the morning, some rice and vegetables at night. I skipped the in-between stuff. No cravings, just a desire to keep it simple.
Evening came with a strange restlessness, like I should’ve done more, but I didn’t give into it. I just sat at my desk, lights low, letting the quiet gather around. No deep thoughts, no dramatic reflection. Just a calm sort of waiting.
Another day, nothing loud, nothing heavy. But somehow, still felt like I lived it fully — even if there’s nothing to show for it. Maybe that’s okay.
