A day in the life : Day 262

in #notes14 days ago

The day unfolded in a slow, almost weightless way. I didn’t wake up with a plan, just followed what felt right in each moment. Sometimes that leads to scattered hours, but today it gave me a sense of calm.

I worked on updating a small part of an old project. It’s not urgent or even relevant anymore, but I still find comfort in going back to something I once cared about. Fixing a few things, polishing some rough edges — like tidying up a memory. No pressure, just maintenance of a past version of myself.

Food was minimal. I wasn’t that hungry, but I made sure to eat something. Toast, tea, a bit of fruit. Some days, the appetite just doesn’t show up fully, and that’s okay. I’m learning not to force too much — energy comes and goes in waves.

I didn’t interact with anyone directly today. Just scrolled through a few posts, read a couple of comments, and moved on. The online world feels loud lately, and I’m more drawn to quiet spaces.

In the evening, I sat by the window with no lights on. Just watched the sky shift into darker shades. That kind of stillness is rare but necessary. It reminds me that doing nothing is sometimes the most valuable thing I can do.

Today wasn’t exciting. But it was real. And enough.
