A day in the life : Day 259
The day started with the usual scroll — checking a few updates, replying to some messages, and then realizing I’d already lost half an hour to nothing. I’ve been trying to cut down on that habit, but it’s tricky when your workspace and your distractions live in the same device.
Once I got into work mode, things were steady. I didn’t build anything new today, just reviewed some old functions and left comments for myself — little reminders of what needs fixing and what can probably be left alone. I’ve realized that not every line of code has to be perfect. Some just need to work and stay out of the way.
Midday felt heavy. I think I need more sunlight. I haven’t been outside properly in a few days, and it’s starting to show in my energy. I stretched a bit, drank water, and stood by the window for a few minutes. Not the same as a walk, but better than nothing.
The evening was quiet. No big conversations or notifications — just some background music and a few thoughts drifting in and out. Being alone doesn’t sting like it used to. If anything, I’ve started to enjoy my own rhythm, even when it’s a little offbeat.
Another page turned. Another ordinary day that somehow still matters.
