A day in the life : Day 258

in #notesyesterday

Today felt like it moved in slow motion, but not in a bad way. I didn’t rush into work — just opened up my screen, looked at a few tasks, and picked the one that felt manageable. Sometimes that’s the only way to get started. I spent a couple of hours tweaking a small feature on one of my apps. The change was minor, but it needed attention. Debugging was smooth, surprisingly — no sudden crashes or strange errors. Small win.

I skipped breakfast again, which I know I shouldn’t be doing. But I made up for it with a proper lunch. Cooked something simple at home, and it felt good to slow down and eat without screens or distractions.

In the evening, I cleaned up my workspace a bit. Wiped the desk, reorganized some folders, even deleted old notes I don’t need anymore. That kind of digital decluttering is underrated. It clears more than just space — it clears the mind too.

I didn’t talk to anyone much today, and that’s fine. Some days just need to be quiet. There’s comfort in silence when you’re not resisting it.

Now the night feels still, and I’m not in a rush to fill it. I’ll probably read something light or just sit in the dark for a while. No pressure to be productive, just present. That’s enough.
