A day in the life : Day 255
Woke up a little later than planned today. I’ve been trying to shift my schedule earlier, but somehow the bed feels more convincing in the mornings. Still, I managed to sit down with a cup of tea and open my laptop by mid-morning.
Most of the day went into debugging an issue I thought I had fixed last week. Turns out it was just hiding under a different name. The good part is that I didn’t rush through it like I normally do — I actually paused, took notes, and stepped back when I felt frustrated. That small change made a big difference. I guess I’m slowly learning that not everything has to be solved in one sitting.
I didn’t really talk to anyone today, but it didn’t bother me. I think I’m getting more comfortable with my own company. That used to scare me a bit, but now it feels like a kind of quiet freedom. No drama, no noise — just me and my thoughts.
Cooked something simple for dinner. I’m still not great at it, but I enjoy chopping vegetables more than I thought I would. It’s kind of meditative, like typing code but with color and smell.
Not a very exciting day, but it felt grounded. And honestly, those are the days I value the most now. Just moving things along, one small piece at a time.
