A day in the life : Day 202

Woke up to sunshine today, which instantly made everything feel better. Seriously, it’s amazing how much a little bit of sunlight can impact your mood. I started the day with a quick workout – nothing too intense, just some yoga to stretch things out.

Then it was straight into work mode. I had a bunch of deadlines looming, so I spent most of the morning focused on getting things done. Lots of emails, phone calls, and problem-solving. It was a bit hectic, but I managed to make some good progress.

Took a proper lunch break, which is something I often skip. Went to a little cafe nearby and had a salad and a coffee. It was nice to get out of the house and people-watch for a bit.

The afternoon was more work, but I broke it up with a quick walk around the block. Needed to clear my head and get some fresh air. I ended up chatting with my neighbour for a few minutes, which was nice.

After work, I met up with a friend for dinner. We went to a new Italian place that everyone’s been talking about, and it was amazing. So much pasta! We spent hours catching up and laughing.

Came home feeling really good. I spent a little while reading before bed, just to wind down. It was a busy day, but a good one. Sometimes you just need a little bit of human connection to recharge. Definitely feeling grateful for good friends and good food tonight.
