While it is MP as of a patch or two ago. I have only seen players in certain designed areas that bring people to a single area.

Since there are trillions of planets it’s rather rare for it just to occur “randomly” at least at the start. Granted the game does have certain paths that it leads a couple of players down so you might not always be the first one in an area.

Closer to the center of the universe a lot of players have ended up. Somewhere there is I think a map of players that have formed a network in a region of space. Along with player created communities.

I don’t have that requirements unlocked atm to just gate to peoples planets. As such I would have to travel by ship which can take quite a few days. Then there the whole issue of finding them on a planet.

That's cool. That's incredible how big that world is and so was the Auction House player based?

I can see the point of creating networks, but even when playing games like minecraft with friends I went out on my own for the most part and had hidden tunnels where I stored my best loot at so I would definitely try and build close to those other individuals, but definitely would want to be far enough away where i could explore areas without seeing anyone.

Players can have a short term effect on the trade networks for that system but it is NPC based.

Each system can be poor to rich. There is even a ship scanner module to see economy for a solar system but I’ve not installed or built it. So I don’t know to what scale that displays information.

Trading is quite an easy thing to take advantage of for a lot of money in the game. I think I was at 1 billion units in under 100 jumps. There are lots of other ways to make money than just buying and selling.
