Nineties Friday! 🎺 Third Wave Ska Picks & Talk! FiveTuneFriday On NinetiesFriday! 🎸

On this #NinetiesFriday I’m picking songs from the late nineties Ska 🎺 scene (The Third Wave). Ska originally comes from Jamaica and was very different. By the third wave of it in the late nineties it was rock 🪨 t punk vibes with added horns. Definitely watered down but frankly I loved a lot of these songs in this late nineties scene!

Couldn’t really fit all my picks into five so here are a couple bonus picks! Going back to early No Doubt and showcasing when No Doubt was a pure ska band before 1995’s Tragic Kingdom. We take a song off there 1992 album showing these scenes that get mainstream attention usually have already been brewing for years prior. Also going with a couple 2000 releases from the band Less Than Jake and there album that was recorded in 1999 but not released until a year later. Also the band Catch 22 and there nineties Ska vibe from there second album released in 2000…
