A LOOK AT THE NIGERIAN COMMUNITY ON STEEMIT

#Nigerians on steemit has been enjoying a steady growth and you just added to the list. Congrats!

According to this report, the population has risen to 16,231 steemians and counting. Thanks to efforts from Nigerian curators @fisteganos, @ogoowinner, @ehiboss, @destinysaid and @gbenga.

Question is, how does this growth affect you as a new steemit user from #Nigeria?

For you to be enjoy a successful stay on Steemit and achieve your aim of making money as a new user, bear this 3 things in mind.

1. Join project #bigwaves

Project Bigwaves idea has been on for awhile and very few Nigerian users knows about it. Six (6) days ago, an official announcement was made on how it will support the growth of Nigerians on steemit. So, key into it.

They have a guideline though and here is a repost:

The Guidelines

For posts to be eligible for curation by Project Bigwaves, a few guidelines need to be adhered to. The following are a few of them:

Posts must be by Nigerian authors only. This project has been setup to grow the Nigerian community and so we will be focusing on Nigerians only.

Only original content. Please make sure sources are linked properly. Plagiarism is strongly frowned upon so if you just "copy and paste", you shouldn't expect to get any reward.

Posts must have the #nigeria tag. Using this tag makes it possible for the curators to find your posts. It is very important so make sure to use it.

A single author may be upvoted only once every 24 hours. This is to make sure that the reward is spread evenly across the board.

The higher the quality of your post, the higher the power of our votes! We are not out to reward just anything but quality. The better the quality, the better for the community.

We would not be voting on any post @cheetah or @steemcleaners comments on.

2. Steemit Hates Ponzi

It's already a fact that you can and will make money from Steemit. Whether it's MMM, MLM schemes, Pyramid schemes, or whatever they are, do yourself a favour not to promote it here.

Fact is, Ponzi schemes always end up in people loosing their money. At such, if you ignore this warning and keep promoting such, you will be taken down by the authorities concerned. Here is a scammer who is already facing the heat.

3. Join our Steem network
