AC MILAN : EN-ROUTE TO ITS GLORY?
In the early 90's to the mid 20's. We all would dream(including football clubs) or wish our beloved #clubs in Which we support will be as explosive and successful as AC Milan go about their business on and off the pitch, with the likes of Paolo Malibu, Clarence Seedorf, Christian Abbiati, Andriy Shevchenko, Gennaro Gattuso, trust me guys, if i keep listing, you will get an arousal. This was a generation of an era in the history of books the then "Great" Ac milan in which every department was filled with great personalities and world class coach/players from Fabio Capello/carlo Ancellotti to Andriy Shevchenko/ Zlantan Ibrahimovic. Personally, as a football fan, I got attracted to football with the style of play and calibre of players that AC milan team had.
Okay, Enough of the ecstasy now, it look like after so many years of diverting from the AC Milan we all grew up to love, we will get to see this great club come back to the lime light of European and world football.
After an underwhelming. 2016/2017 season, it's been so far some years now though this Summer transfer has been all they could ever dream of so far starting from the takeover of the club from Silvio Beelusconi to Chinese Investor "Sino- Europe sport investment" to the signings of Andre Silva, Andrea Conti, Hakan Calhanoglu, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez , Lucas Biglia, Franck Kessie, Antonio Donnarumma, Fabio Borini and oh, let's Not forget the contract renewal of Gigi Donnarumma, thats for me as been their best bussiness this Summer alongside the signing of a world class defender in Leonardo Bonucci.
Impressively, Ac Milan are building #team for the next generation with their #new #signings in their early 20's added up with the experience and leadership of Bonnuci. What I think they have lacked since the retirement of Paulo Maldini, who was the main reason for their envied success
Knowing the #season is yet to get started with time arms patience also on their side, we should anticipate this once great #club to find their lost glory and get us, football fans, to #dream arms envy once again. It might not be as last successful generation but it's something to get excited about.
You mean Paolo Maldini, right?
:D
i think they were oldest squad to win CL.
With Ambrosini, Costacurta, Maldini all in 40s if i remember well... and many others in late 30s..
Yea you are right
