Curling had its first official medal awarding competition in the 1998 Olympic winter game in Japan and would also be featuring in the 2018 Olympic winter game in pyeongchang Korea. A sport we should all watch out for.

How to play

Curling is a game between two teams, each team with four players and eight stones each, each team take turns in sliding heavy stones across the ice curling sheet towards a circular target called 'the house' marked on the ice.
Teams score points by aiming their stones closest to the house than the other team at the conclusion of each ends, ends are completed when both teams have thrown all of their stones. A game usually consist of eight to ten ends.
