Why Are Gyms So Awful?

Wherein I recount my experience with YouFit, a scam masquerading as a gym.

I mean, gyms are awful across the board about locking you into contracts with horrible terms in fine print and never letting you quit without exorbitant fees, but this one was just over the top.
