Baltimore 27 - Jacksonville 13
Wembley fans will be excused for thinking that Baltimore’s airtight “D” has been facing Crystal Palace (yet to score a goal in five EPL matches to date!). Now we have to wonder how J’ville will deal with a snarling Raven “D” that’s allowed only ten points thru two weeks, especially as Blake Bortles reverted to familiar form with two ill-timed picks and general ineffectiveness last week in lopsided loss to the Titans. Baltimore still playing it a bit cautious with Joe Flacco, but he did look downfield more last week, almost doubling his YP (121 to 217) from opener. (at London, England)

UNDER THE TOTAL INDIANAPOLIS 16 - Cleveland 13
Not much to recommend other than a gridiron twist to paraphrase LA Clippers’ play-by-play man Ralph Lawlor’s trademark...“First team to 10 wins!” That might be asking a lot of either of these stragglers, but on principle, have a more difficult time laying points away with the Brownies, 1-20 SU their last 21 and with rookie QB DeShone Kizer making just his second NFL road start. Andrew Luck’s return still unknown, but ex-Pat Jacoby Brissett provided a bit more spark for Indy “O” vs. Cards than Scott Tolzien in opener. “Under” not a bad idea (Browns 8-2 L10).

Miami 27 - NY JETS 10
There’s more entertainment in NY during Hoda and Kathie Lee’s hour on the Today show than watching the Jets, who
have seemed to construct a perfect losing machine, void of any offensive fireworks and a “D” quickly becoming worn out in futile attempts to keep games competitive. Miami might not have as much big-play ability to burn Todd Bowles’ “D” as did Oakland last week, but Jay Cutler’s first start as a Dolphin was encouraging, as Miami rallied late to beat the Chargers. Tickets available at MetLife for those 15,000 or so Dolphins fans who overran StubHub Center in LA last week.
