No.1 reason your "New Year New Me" plans don't work~

in #newyear7 years ago (edited)

You're going from drinking 1 cup of water to 1 gallon daily.

You're a bodybuilder running in a 10K.

You're a meat eater, turning vegan.

You've lived in South Africa your whole life and you're moving to Alaska.

See the trend?

Don't fret, it's been my trend too. How can we fix it?

If you're a bodybuilder, don't start with a 10K. Start with a 1K.

If you're a meat eater, don't remove meat entirely. Lower your portions.

If you drink one cup of water a day, don't try a gallon. Drink two cups.

If you're living in South Africa - okay I'll admit that's a weird example.

So tomorrow morning, think to yourself:

"Do I want this year different by setting small goals and achieving them? Or setting big goals and getting nowhere?"

You have a fresh start, a clean slate, a new beginning. Whatever's happened, happened.
2017 is over.

My big goal: One drawing a day.

What I'll do: One drawing a week.

Happy New Year!
