Rolls-Royce £150m UK investment
The aerospace sector in the UK has had some good news this week, with market leaders Rolls-Royce securing over 7000 UK jobs with a £150 million investment.
The decision to invest a further £150 million comes as part of a 5 year plan to ensure Rolls-Royce’s large engine maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities remain open and functional.
This is excellent news for the company and overall the 7000 people who will still be in work, however with brexit looming around the corner will it be a plan they follow through?
It is a good day for British manufacturing that must not be undone by a botched Brexit.
